Somehow, the movie version was all new to me. When I saw the trailer last year, I was thrilled. I didn’t know who Peter is before he lives in Neverland and Pan would tell me more about where he came from.
I watched the blocked screening of PAN last Friday (October 9) at Robinson’s Galleria, Cinema 3. Thank you to 99.5 Play FM for the free tickets!
What can you expect from Pan?
~Peter as an orphan.
He was left by his human mother in an all boys orphanage with a letter.
~Peter as a miner.
After being kidnapped by a pirate ship, Peter set foot with a place called Neverland where he became a miner in search of fairy dust.
~Peter, the lost son.
He was on the right track and place but it was the wrong time. Peter was still looking for his real mother when he learned the heartbreaking truth and his true identity. It was also revealed how he can fly.
~Peter and Black Beard.
The first time that they met, it was an ugly meet-up. Yet because Peter flew, Black Beard, the leader of the pirates became very interested with him.
~Peter and Tiger Lily.
I like the tribal chief’s daughter who is brave and protective. I believe she would be a perfect and lovely older sister to Peter.
~Peter and James Hook.
Friends become Enemies. Enemies become Friends. I didn’t know that Hook and Peter were good pals. They met at Neverland, escaped from Black Beard’s ruthless hand and they instantly became great friends.
Memorable quote:
“Death is a great adventure.”
I enjoyed and learned a lot from Pan. Levi Miller who portrayed Peter was amazing! He is a newbie yet he proved that he could be the playful but determined Peter. Hugh Jackman as Black Beard and Rooney Mara as the brave Tiger Lily were wonderful choice too. James Hook aka Captain Hook, I liked him a lot here! Garrett Hedlund’s voice could command me the whole day!
