I planned to meet and treat my readers at Gumbo but unfortunately I had to change the location for the M & G. I just saw Tamayaki a week before my meet-up and I was curious about the Japanese food chain located at the 2nd floor of SM North Edsa in front of American Boulevard store, near JCO and Cold Creamery.
There were few people when I went inside the food store. I was disappointed with their chairs because some of it had grease on the seat cover. The color of the seats also was not pleasing to the eyes. I actually like the colorful interior which made me think of a happy and enjoying Japanese bar.
Before we ordered our late lunch, Miss Alona (one of the winners from my give-away) and I had chitchat about my blogging and she even had a chance to ask me some personal questions which I gladly answered. Hooray!
I tried their best selling takoyaki: kani and shrimp and seasoned octopus. No doubt that the two flavors were good and delicious. We both decided to drank hot milk teas. I settled for my favorite Wintermelon while Miss Alona had Matcha Green Tea.
I’ve been drinking milktea for a long time and it was my first time to be upset. The wintermelon was very sweet though I requested for a 50% level of sugar and when I opened the cup lid, my drink was almost half already! Some of the items on the menu were also not available.
I surely won’t recommend Tamayaki yet I will come back to see if they will have an improvement with their services and especially with their foods.
Good thing that Miss Alona and I enjoyed our meet and greet and she was very grateful with her loot bag and prizes. I truly appreciated the surprise present that Miss Alona gave to me.
It had been an awesome year for Perks Be with you and I can’t wait for the surprises in 2016!
